Jonah and Donna arrived in London on Friday morning after a long holiday in the southern hemisphere (Charl came back two weeks earlier for work) and we spent Saturday getting the hang of London again. I am refreshed by being a pedestrian again - it is so empowering to get where you wanna go on your own two feet. We hit the Pimlico farmer’s market for some veggies (the kale and leafy greens in season are BEAUTIFUL!) and Daylesford Organic for some coffee, and then strolled over to the Chelsea Market (which is more Chelsea and less Farmer!) for some lunchies and a few more veggies. Then we had a walk around the Saatchi Gallery which imho is mostly full of crap - we finally had the opportunity to say, in earnest - that my seven month old coulda done that! But the space is pleasant. Happy to be back.
